I started making Primordial Soup in 2023 when I was really diving into my art and trying to free my creativity from confines that I would put upon myself. The entire painting feels like you are floating in exactly that - primordial soup. It feels almost primal and humbling, as if we’re a microbe in the microcosm and the potential of life is limitless. It has a scientific and cosmic feel which I really fell in love with once it was finished. I love science, quantum physics, and other space stuff and heavily wonder about life and the world in general. It took a year to complete and changed drastically over the process, which also has led me to have such a special place in my heart for it and adds to its meaning and aura. Primordial Soup was a passionate journey for me, as my entire world-view was changing as I worked on it. I was learning a lot politically and about places around the globe, how society functions, and the ways that small things snowball into bigger things. She’d be a beautiful addition anywhere.
